Many internet entries state that a Christian Stover married Sarah or Susan Lymebok prior to the Revolutionary War abt 1774. Little is known about Sarah. In addition to Lymebok, her name has been reported as Lymbaugh or Lymebough.
Her grandson, Abraham Miller Jr. offers some clarity. He wrote "Abraham Miller, Jr., May 1 1883, who was born December 13th, 1811, in Cumberland, Doe River, Carter County, East Tennessee, Son of George Miller and Lydia (Stover) his wife. Grandparents were John Miller and Mary Keenes, and Christian Stover and Sarah Lymebok. Great grand parents on both sides were High Dutch and all from Germany to the United States in the 17th Centruy. Christian Stover Jr. was born in Pennsylvania in 1776, moved to Tennessee with the family around 1790 at the age of 14. He first married Jemima Ward ca. 1798 and later Margaret Wolf on October 1, 1827 in Washington County, Tennessee. Christian Jr. moved to Indiana probably with his father Christian Sr. and his brother Samuel. Later they would move to Spring River Township in Lawrence County Missouri where in the 1850 census Christian Jr. gave his age as 75 and his occupation as farmer. Christian Jr. passed away sometime after the 1850 census.
